Alex Dowsett Wins Stage 8 Giro d’Italia 2013

Alex Dowsett beat out Bradley Wiggins (Sky) by 10 seconds and Tanel Kangert (Astana) by 14 seconds for the win. Yesterday’s maglia rosa winner Benat Intxausti (Movistar) fought valiantly, but this was not his discipline, and he dropped out of the top ten, losing over four minutes on the day.

Peter Sagan Wins Tour de France Stage 3

It seems to me that Mark Cavendish is in great danger of not getting what he wants so much: beat Eddy Merckx record Tour de France stage winnings, and all due to this charismatic, fantastic cyclist, PETER SAGAN.

Sagan wins today´s tour with such a style, from the heart, spontaneity and dancing on the bike; I just loved to see him fly and cross the line that way.

Tour de France 2012 Stage 3 ON With Updates

The stage is flat again. There is no real-good climbs until stage 10. Mark Cavendish needs to win 3 more stages to pass Eddy Merckx as all time stage winner of the Tour de France. I hope he can do it, he is such a talented cyclist, he deserves it!

In the meantime, Fabian Cancellara still wears the yellow jersey, and he looks good!

Mark Cavendish Wins Stage 2 Tour de France 2012

Mark Cavendish crowns himself today on his own in the finale and he showed his supreme bike ability to sprint.
on today’s 207.5-kilometre second stage from Vise to Tournai to win ahead of Andre Greipel (Lotto-Belisol) and Matt Goss (Orica-GreenEdge).

MARK CAVENDISH

‘I had to leave it a little bit late but I should have gone earlier…I really had to lunge for the line,’ he told British Eurosport.
‘I’m not really chasing (the green jersey) this year. I’ll keep it in the back of my mind and go for every opportunity but I’m not going to put myself in the ground for it.
‘It’s not possible to chase the green jersey alone so I’m just trying to get the stages and then see.
‘I’ll go for the intermediates but I’m not going to chase down breaks to go for it. It’s about minimising points lost really.’

Fabian Cancellara retains the yellow jersey.

Today´s  Tour de France stage 2 is absolutely flat,  with only few 3 or 4 CAT climbs, and it will be up to the sprinters to fight for the crown. We have Mark Cavendish, Tyler Farrar, Peter Sagan, Marcel Kitter, André Greipel and some more that could give us a surprise.

But I doubt that Mark Cavendish will let this opportunity go and will sprint like he know how to do it until the end. We will se what surprises this stage will bring us.

Superheroes And The Giro d’Italia 2012

I love superheroes, they are stronger than the average human and have a special ability such as being able to fly, change shape, throw fire or create storms, and on it goes. They also get to wear cool costumes and of course their bodies look perfect with muscles and waistlines to envy. In everyday life, for the most part, they can function with the appearance of an everyday person (of course there are always exceptions!) and not be bothered by people who want a favor.
