I Love Wheelies Peter Sagan Does Too

What kind of cyclist doesn´t love wheelies. Skilled mountain bikers really know how to pull a wheelie, but being an expert on wheelies should not be exclusive to MTBikers. There are many rodies who are savvy at this practice, just like Peter Sagan.

I found that running my rear brake lever slightly higher up on the handlebar made it more accessible.
Dabbing the brake to prevent looping is a great skill to learn, if a little frustrating at first.
But at the end of the day its all about practice, practice and more practice.
once your comfortable with wheelies, progress to manuals!

The keys to a successful wheelie are in the selection of your gear and your ability to deliver one well-timed power stroke through the pedals. You need to pick a good place to practice (flat grass is ideal), and flat pedals will let you bail out if needed.

Fabian Cancellara VS Peter Sagan ahead of Milan-San Remo

Speaking at Tirreno-Adriatico during the week, Cancellara had told reporters that he would not collaborate with Sagan if the pair went clear at Milan-San Remo on Sunday, citing the way the Cannondale youngster had sat on his wheel before winning stage 1 of last year’s Tour de France in Seraing as exhibit A in his case against Sagan.

“This year if I’m in front with Cancellara, the risk for him is that if we get pulled back, then he won’t win the bunch sprint whereas I can still try and win in a group sprint,” Sagan said. “I have two chances. So if he doesn’t work on the front, maybe I’ll just wait for the group with him, I don’t know.

“If he’s talking like that about me, saying that he wouldn’t do turns with me on the front, then maybe he is a bit afraid and that’s to my advantage, no?”

Fabian Cancellara Not Focussing on the Tour de France 2013

ON THE PHOTO: Look at Cancellara’s calves!

Fabian Cancellara has not decided yet about racing the 2013 Tour de France, instead he wants to focus on the classic races for the moment, and I am looking forward to watch him win some stages or one day races where time trials are involved.

“The main focus will be the classics,” said Cancellara, who explained that he will line up in the Tour of Oman, Strade Bianche, Milan-San Remo, E3 Harelbeke, Gent-Wevelgem, the Tour of Flanders, Scheldeprijs and Paris-Roubaix in the coming two months, while Amstel Gold Race is also a possibility.

“And the rest of the season? We leave it for now. I know that there was a lot of talk about me not going to the Tour de France because there’s no prologue and this and that, but on the other hand, it’s the classics first, and then after that I want to see what the next step is.”

Bradley Wiggins Wins Individual Time Trial at the London Olympics

Following his historic Tour de France victory, Bradley Wiggins was the man to win the ITT today, and he just did it. He’s converted his individual pursuit speed and has had a phenomenal season.

You couldn´t discount my other contender, Fabian Cancellara, probably the greatest time trialist who’s ever drawn breath and Froome, Froome on his day he’s very good. But Wiggins has prepared meticulously and he didn´t fail his loyal British compatriots.

Congrats, Bradley!

Pierre Rolland falls on a curve but like a true cyclist gets up and continues, but this time with more adrenaline and will to win the stage, and he does, yes, he wins stage 11 almost a minute ahead of Wiggins. Great work, Roland!

Cadel Evans looked tired today and fell back on the GC. Yesterday he was No.2, today he dropped to 4. Will he be off the podium? We will see how he recovers these next 2 stages.

The stage is flat again. There is no real-good climbs until stage 10. Mark Cavendish needs to win 3 more stages to pass Eddy Merckx as all time stage winner of the Tour de France. I hope he can do it, he is such a talented cyclist, he deserves it!

In the meantime, Fabian Cancellara still wears the yellow jersey, and he looks good!
