Josefina Vázquez Mota candidata virtual del PAN

México.- Con 86.7 por ciento de las casillas computadas, Josefina Vázquez Mota se perfila como la abanderada del Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) a la Presidencia de la República, y la tendencia es “irreversible”, aseguró José Espina, presidente de la Comisión Nacional de Elecciones de ese instituto político.

En conferencia de prensa, el presidente de la CNE del Partido Acción Nacional (PAN), José Espina von Roehrich, dio a conocer los resultados de la elección que dan como ganadora a Vázquez Mota con una ventaja de 226 mil 790 votos (55 por ciento) sobre su más cercano contendiente.

El presidente de dicha comisión, José Espina, explicó que en segundo lugar se ubica Ernesto Cordero Arroyo con 156 mil 958 votos (38.1 por ciento), mientras que en el tercer puesto se encuentra Santiago Creel Miranda, con 25 mil 347 (6.1 por ciento) por ciento.

Nevada Suffering Modern Great Recession

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — The Great Recession has dealt Nevada a losing hand.
The Silver State, which will hold the Republican caucus on Saturday, has the dubious distinction of leading the nation in unemployment, foreclosure filings and share of homes worth less than the mortgages on them.
The collapse of the housing market wreaked havoc on homeowners, but also caused the once-prospering construction industry to fold, sending the unemployment rate skyrocketing.
Adding to the state’s woes, the national economic downturn hurt Nevada’s lifeblood of tourism and gambling, costing even more jobs.

Nevada’s unemployment rate soared to an all-time high of 14.9% in December 2010. While it’s since fallen to 12.6%, that’s still more than four percentage points higher than the national rate. And more than half of those out of work have been jobless for at least six months.
A staggering 1 in 16 homes have been hit with a foreclosure filing, versus the national rate of 1 in 69 homes. And more than half of borrowers owe more on their mortgages than their homes are worth, compared to just over a fifth nationwide.
Meanwhile, home prices continue to plummet. S&P/Case Shiller recently reported that Las Vegas home prices fell by 9.1% over the 12 months ending in November, the second-worst performance among the 20 cities surveyed. The reason: a high number of foreclosure sales.
The myriad foreclosure prevention programs rolled out by the Obama administration have done little to stabilize housing and the economy in this hard-hit state, housing counselors say.
“While they’ve been helpful, they haven’t addressed the heart of the problem,” said Gail Burks, chief executive of the Nevada Fair Housing Center, noting the unending drop in home values. “Nothing in Nevada has stemmed the tide and gotten the market back on track.”

90 por ciento de los jóvenes mexicanos en pobreza

 La Confederación Nacional Campesina demandó al Gobierno Federal y a los empresarios rescatar a más de 8 millones de jóvenes que ni estudian ni trabajan y son presa fácil para engrosar las filas de la delincuencia organizada, ya que el 90 por ciento de la juventud en México padece algún grado de pobreza y tiende, además, a emigrar a los Estados Unidos y a las principales ciudades del país.

Israel León Maldonado, aspirante a presidir la Vanguardia Juvenil Agrarista de la CNC para el período 2012-2016, advirtió que bajo esta realidad el futuro de México se halla cada vez más en la incertidumbre, pues una juventud ociosa constituye un factor de riesgo para la estabilidad política de cualquier país.

En el salón Emiliano Zapata de esta central y acompañado de cientos de jóvenes, Israel León recibió cerca de las 13 horas de hoy su constancia de registro para la elección del presidente de la VJA, donde, al ser entrevistado, manifestó que de un total de 34 millones de jóvenes entre 12 y 29 años de edad, casi el 25 por ciento son desaprovechados por la falta de oportunidades que los puedan integrar al desarrollo nacional.

The video clearly shows a very wrong move by the motorcyclist, which was getting between the cyclist and his team car. The motorcyclist should never do that because he could cause a terrible accident for the cyclist. Mario Cipollini gets mad, understandably and throws his water bottles at the biker. By the way, he throws a very good shot, got the motor-biker right on his back!
